How can I become a euPago customer?
To be a euPago customer and begin receiving payments by Multibanco & Payshop references, you only have to send us the necessary documentation. You do not have to set up a company or be an individual entrepreneur.
Is my money safe?
Yes, it is. Our company is a payment institution that rigorously implements the regulator's recommendations (Central Bank of Portugal), and is constantly evaluated by the same entity. It's impossible to be more safer.

Payment institutions are entities authorized to provide and execute payment services throughout the European Community.
Do I need to have an online store to use euPago services?
No. You can generate and send references via e-mail through your client area. In addition, we have developed methods that integrate our system with various e-commerce platforms, such as: Magento, osCommerce, OpenCart, PrestaShop, etc. We also developed a powerful API.
API? Prestashop? I don't understand anything at all... I just want to use Multibanco & Payshop on my website. Does it have any additional costs?

No, you only pay for each reference that has been paid by your customers.
How do I know that my customer has already made the payment?
You receive our real-time notification by e-mail, SMS or directly on your online store. Just a minute later and you already know that the order was paid!
And is there no possibility of confusion? How do I know that the reference "X" belongs to the customer "Y"?
It is simple: we allow you to associate a reference to an identifier that you have created. It can be a number, a name, etc. That's up to you. You know better than anyone how to run your business.
And now that the reference has already been paid, where is my money?
Good question. It is very important to know where our money is! The amount paid goes from the customer's account to an account of SIBS / Payshop. The funds are then sent to a bank account of our company before we send them to your bank account. All the institutions - SIBS, Payshop and euPago - are payment institutions regulated by the Central Bank of Portugal. Your money is in good hands!
And when do I get my money?
The transfers we make to our customers account are made daily. euPago will make the payment until the 1st working day following the receipt of payment, unless some force majeure issues occur. In these cases, we will make the transfer until the second working day following the day we receive the payment.
A customer contacted me saying that eupago.pt appeared in his bank statement. Why did it happen?
In fact, your customer made a payment via our payment institution, that's the reason why our name appears in his bank statement.
When do I pay?
I just need to pay for the service. When do I pay the fees?
You don't have to worry. The fees will be deducted from the transaction amount. For example, if you receive a transfer worth of € 10.00 and you chose the plan X you will be credited a total of € 9.14.
And what about my invoice?
Invoices are not issued monthly (or at the end of the payment period). They are available immediately. Invoices are sent by e-mail, along with a full report of the movements of your account. In addition, in your client area, you will have access to all the information at any time.
